Pay Online from Your Bank Account
Visit the African Bank website and click on the login button.
Log in to your African Bank online banking account using your username and password.
Navigate to the "Payments" section on the homepage to manage your payments.
Select "Add a Payee" to include African Bank as a recipient, if not already listed. Enter the required details, such as account number and payment reference.
Choose the account from which you want to make the payment, enter the amount, and set the payment date. If desired, enable recurring payments to automate future payments.
Review the payment details carefully to ensure accuracy, including the amount and payment date.
Submit the payment and wait for confirmation of successful processing.
Save or print the payment confirmation for your records.
Pay Through the App
Download and log in to the African Bank mobile app using your username and password.
Navigate to the "Payments" section once logged in.
Add a new payee by selecting "Add Recipient" and entering the necessary details, such as the loan account number and recipient name.
Once the recipient is added, choose it from your list of payees.
Select the account from which you wish to make the payment, enter the payment amount, and choose whether to make it a one-time payment or set up regular debits.
Review all payment details, ensuring the recipient and payment information are correct.
Confirm the payment and upon successful processing, you will receive a confirmation notification.
You can choose to save or send a receipt for your records.
Pay from Another Bank
Log in to the online banking platform of your primary bank (not African Bank) or contact the helpdesk for assistance.
Add African Bank as a recipient in your bank’s payment section, providing the necessary details, including your loan account number and the payment reference.
Enter the amount you want to pay and verify the external account by following your bank’s verification process, which may include confirming small test deposits.
Once your external account is verified, schedule the payment, ensuring the details of the loan recipient and payment amount are correct.
Confirm the payment and save or print the confirmation for your records.
