Requirements
If you are a United States resident and are at least 18 years old, you are eligible for Zip. In addition, you must have a valid and verifiable mobile number and have a US credit or debit card.
Application details
To begin using Zip, choose the Zip option at Checkout or register an account on the company's website or mobile app. You need to provide your date of birth, a mobile phone number, and a debit or credit card.
You must also meet the following requirements:
Live in the United States;
Be at least 18 years old and competent to enter into legally binding contracts (19 in the state of Alabama);
Have a current and verifiable mobile phone number;
Have a credit or debit card issued in the United States.

It doesn't take long to fill out an online application and get approved. Zip can verify a lot of your personal information by linking to your Facebook, LinkedIn, or PayPal account. Still, you will also need to give them your phone number, bank information, and other financial or identity documents.
