This app is extremely frustrating. As soon as you sign up, they place you on a "waitlist." I've been waiting for over two weeks, and it has become utterly ridiculous. I don't need the service that badly. I strongly advise against wasting your time on this app.

I'm relatively new to Beem, and typically, I wouldn't consider using such a service, especially given my lack of credit history and the reluctance of others to give me an opportunity to improve my financial situation. As I read through all the provided information, I wasn't entirely convinced until I came across the only review available so far. While it wasn't overly negative, the individual didn't seem entirely satisfied with the overall process.
What struck me the most and gave me hope that Beem could genuinely help me get back on track was the swift response from the developer. They reached out to that person, offered apologies, and expressed a willingness to assist in any way possible. This quick response demonstrated to me that Beem genuinely cares about its users. Thank you!

I patiently waited for months to finally secure a $20 line of credit. However, once I borrowed the amount, I was stunned to discover that I had to repay it within a mere 2 days, accompanied by a $4 interest fee. In total, I have already paid them $26, including the subscription fee.
Now that I've diligently paid back the $24, I was informed that the payment may take 5-7 business days to reflect in my account. However, it's been nearly 2 weeks, and the payment still shows as pending. Every time I've reached out to support, I've received the same response: "Please be patient, and we will provide you with an update." Meanwhile, I continue to receive notifications relentlessly, demanding a payment that I've already settled nearly 2 weeks ago. This has turned out to be a frustrating waste of time.

I've consistently faced disappointment with Line as it repeatedly tells me, "Sorry, we're unable to approve your loan." Frustrated with the experience, I eventually removed Beem from my phone. Surprisingly, I started receiving texts and emails stating I'd been approved for a $70 loan. However, the issue persisted as I logged in, and I was greeted with the same "sorry" message.
To make matters worse, their customer service has proven to be equally frustrating. I reached out for assistance, but regrettably, it was not forthcoming. For those who have successfully obtained loans through them, I applaud your achievement. However, for my part, I've decided to once again remove their app from my device until these issues are resolved.

I've been using Beem for two months now, and I want to preface this by mentioning that I have a monthly income of over $4,200 after taxes and medical deductions. However, I've only been approved for a $25 monthly limit, which presents a challenge for me since I'm paid once a month on the 1st. This leaves me with just a week to repay, making it difficult to manage.
Additionally, I've encountered issues with adding my debit card multiple times. Whenever I log back in, it mysteriously disappears from Beem. I've even gone through the process of verifying my debit card, only to have it vanish again from Beem. This has happened a frustrating 11 times. Beem's functionality clearly needs some refinement. Furthermore, the customer service could be more helpful, as I've experienced attitude from a representative more than once.
I attempted to upgrade my monthly subscription to access more cash, but the system wouldn't allow me to do so. I believe there's room for improvement in terms of linking checking accounts and income information. It's important to note that, contrary to expectations, you shouldn't anticipate receiving the $100-$1000 amounts advertised; based on my experience and Google reviews, the highest I've seen anyone receive is $40. Once I've paid back the $25, I plan to cancel my account. Beem has potential, but there are several issues that need to be addressed to enhance the user experience.

I downloaded this app today with excitement because I've been using Afterpay, Klarna, and Sezzle for a while without any issues. However, I wanted to explore more options since Line offered stores where I needed to shop for my daughters' Christmas gifts. I attempted to enter my bank account and login information for Plaid, but it repeatedly claimed it wasn't the right credentials, even though I verified with my bank that I had entered the correct information.
I find the signup process unnecessarily complicated. Other apps require only the registration of your debit card, and you're good to go. They have had no trouble deducting installment payments from my linked debit card. It might be a good idea to reconsider your signup process and stick to using debit or credit cards without trying to link a bank account as well. This process has caused unnecessary frustration.
I was initially drawn to Beem due to its promising features, like the goals, rewards, and the variety of stores it offers. However, I quickly went to their website to deactivate my application, and I plan to delete Beem shortly. The concept has potential, but the signup process needs improvement to make it more user-friendly and seamless.

Prior to any quick responses suggesting I email for support, I've been sending emails since September and they've gone unanswered, so that's not a viable option. I've been struggling to unlink my bank account and sought help from customer service, but they simply directed me to do it myself in Beem. Despite my repeated explanations that the button in Beem wouldn't unlink the bank, they continued to provide the same unhelpful response. I've reached out via email repeatedly, but still, I'm met with silence.
Now, here's where things start to look suspicious. Beem offers the option to delete your application (even though I was never able to submit one), claiming they'll immediately erase all your information. However, this isn't the case at all. I closed my application and account a month ago, and when I attempted to sign back in, I was presented with a message asking if I'd like to reopen it. I accepted, and to my surprise, the application still had all my information stored in it. So, it seems that deleting it merely pauses it and retains the information. This leads to concerns that the company might be holding onto this data for potential future sales. Customer service has been unresponsive to my emails, and if the developer's response to this review is to email for a fix, I must point out that I've been trying for four months without any response.

You can easily send and receive money, and the new Beem app allows you to borrow money. The customer service is friendly and highly supportive.
