Personal account features
All Regions Bank personal accounts come with special tools that make banking more convenient. Create a bank account online that meets your requirements. Access your accounts anytime you like, from wherever you are, and take advantage of time-saving features like Bill Pay and convenient money transfers. A Regions Visa debit card is available to everyone with a personal account at Regions Bank. Tap to Pay, Click to Pay, and other mobile payment solutions like Google Pay and Apple Pay allow you to make purchases with your debit card any way you like. With LockIt card controls, you may limit when and where your card is used, and you can also earn Cashback Rewards. Using the Spend & Save feature of your account, you can build your savings over time.
How to register an account
To set up an account with the Bank, follow these steps:
Visit Regions' website and click the link labeled "Enroll in Online Banking" below the "Online Banking Login" section to get started;
Fill out the Customer Information form with your full name, mailing address, email address, and contact number;
For individual bank accounts, select Personal Banking to sign up for Online Banking;
Checking or Savings should be chosen if you have a checking, savings, or money market account;
You can choose one of the two options to validate your account: An ATM or Checking Account Number is the first viable option. The second choice is to provide a Customer Number;
Enter your card details if you choose an ATM/CheckCard Number as your account verification method;
To proceed with enrollment, read the Consent for Electronic Transactions, Records, and Signatures and click I Accept;
Create an Online ID and Password;
Choose three security questions to answer and click Next after you're done;
Once you have successfully enrolled, you will receive a confirmation message. To get into your account, click the Log In Now button.
How to reset a password
In order to modify your username and password for your online account:
After successfully logging in to Online Banking, pick Settings from the Customer Service option of the navigation bar;
Choose either your Online ID or Password from the menu located in the Contact & Security Info section;
Click the edit icon that is next to your existing password to make changes to it (hidden for privacy);
After providing your New Password and retyping it in the field labeled "Confirm Password," select the Update button.
Take note that your password must contain between 8 and 18 different characters and digits and that it is case-sensitive. There is to be no use of special characters.
How to delete an account
You are required to get in touch with Regions customer service and phone the Regions Bank Customer service department at 1-800-734-4667 or visit a local location to terminate your account. Ask for a written confirmation that the process has been finished so that you may check that your account has been closed successfully. You also have the option to delete your online Regions account manually from within My GreenInsights.
If you want to delete a user account that was added manually:
Once you are logged into Regions Online Banking, select the "Insights" option;
Choose the bank icon that is located on the right side of the choices bar;
There will be a pop-up page that appears. Choose "Manual Accounts" at the very bottom of the left-hand navigation;
Find the account you want to delete, then click the ellipsis on the right side of the account's details page. Choose "Delete Account" from the drop-down box to close your account;
When a pop-up window displays, confirm your selection by typing "DELETE" in all capital letters.
