Apply For a Quicken Loans

Update 18.01.2023

How to apply for a loan?

You must apply for a Quicken Loans mortgage online through Rocket Mortgage, Quicken's subsidiary mortgage company. It will prompt you to verify your financial details by importing it into the site.

Once you submit your information online, you can call a home loan expert who will contact you. You'll see what types of loans, fees, rates, and other advantages you might be eligible for once you've input all of your information. You'll get an offer that locks in your interest rate for 90 days after your information is validated. Finally, choose which loan you want and set up an online closing date.

Requirements

Consumers can apply online for a mortgage via the Rocket Mortgage app or website, and all financial information and papers can be submitted and exchanged electronically.

To qualify for an FHA loan, you'll need a minimum credit score of 580 (plus a down payment of at least 3.5 percent) if you apply with Quicken Loans. This is less than the 600 required by most lenders for FHA loans. The lowest credit score that falls into the "fair" level is 580. If you're approved for a loan, Rocket Homes will provide you with tools to help you get to the closing table. The lender may continue to service the debt after you have closed it.

Application details

For your application, Rocket Mortgage suggests having the following information on hand:

  • Information on earnings and employers.
  • Social Security Number (SSN)
  • Each person on the loan should have an email address.
  • Username and password for online banking, as well as statements for checking, savings, retirement accounts, and other assets, should be considered by the lender.
