How to apply for a loan?
You can open an account with empowering online. Even if you click Get Started on the website, it won't allow you to apply. To start the procedure, download the mobile application.
Enter your phone number. You will receive a verification code that you need to enter in the field.
Provide your name and email, and create a password for the account.
Request a service and see how much you can qualify for. If the amount and the loan terms are suitable for you, you can proceed with the application. If not, Empower allows you to borrow less.
Choose if you want to get instant delivery and whether you will pay a tip.
Requirements
To qualify for the Empower service, you need to:
Be 18+ years old;
Have an account with a bank over 30 days old;
Have two deposits in your account in the last three months that exceed $200.
Empower considers credit scores below 700 to be poor and issues products in unfavorable conditions, such as higher interest rates and lower loan amounts.
You will have to provide your Social Security Number and address. The company will ask you to link your bank account to the app to view your income, balances, history, and transactions.
