Types of cards
The bank offers two types of MasterCard credit cards.
Citizens Cash Back Plus™ World Mastercard®
On everything you buy, you can get 1.8% cashback. That means you can make as much money as possible and do whatever you want. You will also not be charged any yearly or foreign transaction fees. This credit card is called Cash Back Plus because of this.
Annual Percentage Rate. Depending on your credit strength, you could pay 18.24%, 22.24%, or 26.24%. This APR depends on the Prime Rate and market conditions.
Transfer APR. 0% APR for the first 15 billing cycles. Depending on your credit, your APR will be 18.24%, 22.24%, or 26.24%. This APR depends on the Prime Rate and market conditions.
Cash-advance APR. 27.24%. This APR depends on the Prime Rate and market conditions.
When late-payment APR applies. Non-interest bearing. Each billing cycle payment is due 25 days later. You won't be charged interest if you pay off your balance each month. Cash Advances, Balance Transfers, and Convenience Checks all accrue interest.
Interest Minimum. Interest will be at least $1.50.
Clear Value® Mastercard®
The benefit of the bank's lowest rate credit card is evident, with a 0% initial APR on balance transfers and assets for the first 18 billing cycles, a variable APR of 16.24% - 24.24%, and no annual fee. Even if you have a balance, start paying less from the beginning.

Pros and cons
Pros
With unlimited rewards, you can get flat cash back on all transactions.
Balance transfers have a 15-billing-cycle 0% intro APR.
There is no annual charge.
Cons
APR is relatively high.
There will be no recurring bonus cash back from bonus categories.
The rewards are slightly smaller than those offered by comparable flat cash-back credit cards.
Main requirements
The main requirements for Citizens Bank credit cards are:
Being at least 18 years of age;
Having a good credit history;
No outstanding debts that exceed $10,000;
No bankruptcy cases in the past seven years.
How to apply for a card
To apply for a Citizens Bank credit card, you should visit the bank's website and click on the "Apply Now" button.
You'll see a webpage where you can select the type of account you wish to open. If you want to apply for a credit card, there will be an option for it on this page. You'll be redirected to a webpage with a sign-in box. Enter your personal information, including your name, address, and social security number. Review the card's terms and conditions before applying (e.g., interest rates, annual fees, credit limit). And finish your application by clicking Apply Now. You can also apply by mail, phone, or in person at your local branch.
How to pay off a debt
With a Citizens credit card, you can pay your bill in the app with just a few taps. Log into the app and tap on the credit card you want to pay. Then tap the Pay button, and enter how much you want to pay—either the minimum payment, the total balance, or any amount in between. Next, select the Citizen's checking or savings account you'd like to pay from. If you need to add a new bank account, click Manage Other Accounts and then add account type in the account holder's name, the bank's routing number, and the account number, then click Add Account. You'll see a green check mark when it's all set. Once you've chosen the account you want to pay from, decide on the date, then tap Pay.
