Citi Mobile®
Citi Mobile® is a mobile banking app that allows Citi bank customers to manage their accounts and perform financial transactions using their mobile devices. With Citi Mobile®, customers can access their account balances and transaction history, pay bills, transfer funds, deposit checks, and more, all from their smartphones or tablets.
Mobile App Features
Some of the features of Citi Mobile® include:
- Account management. Citi Mobile® allows customers to view their account balances and transaction history, set up account alerts, and manage their account settings.
- Bill pay. With Citi Mobile®, customers can pay their bills online using their mobile devices. They can schedule payments, view payment history, and set up recurring payments.
- Transfer funds. Citi Mobile® allows customers to transfer money between their Citi accounts, as well as to and from other banks.
- Mobile check deposit. Customers can use their mobile devices to take a picture of a check and deposit it into their account.
- Citi rewards. Customers can view their rewards balance and redeem rewards directly from the Citi Mobile® app.
- Security features. Citi Mobile® includes several security features to protect customers' accounts, including biometric login options (such as Touch ID and Face ID), transaction alerts, and fraud detection.
To use Citi Mobile®, customers will need to download the app from the app store on their device and sign in with their Citi account credentials. The app is available for both iOS and Android devices.
How to Download
The Citi Mobile app may be downloaded for free on Android and iOS platforms. You can download the Citi Mobile App by carrying out any of the following steps:
- Citibank will email you a download link if you send the text "MBANK" to 52484 or call +91 9880752484.
- Navigate to the Google Play Store or the Apple App Store and download the "Citi Mobile IN" app.
The Citi Mobile app is available for all domestic customers of Citibank, including those with bank accounts, credit cards, mortgages, and personal loans, among other products. You only need to possess:
- A smartphone with an internet connection and an operating system version of 11 or higher for iOS or OS 6 or higher for Android is required (iOS).
- An active user ID and an IPIN, also known as an Internet Password, both of which are required to use Citibank Online. If you do not already possess a USER ID or IPIN, you now can immediately generate one using the "Self-Select" feature (Internet Password).
- Your mobile phone number that's on file with Citibank.
If you do not have an iPhone or a phone based on the Android operating system, you can still access important Citi mobile capabilities through the mobile website on the browser of your mobile phone. This is the case even if you do not have an Android-based phone. You can recharge your wallet, pay bills, and transfer payments from this convenient location.
How to Apply in the App
Citi Mobile® allows you to apply for certain Citi banking products directly from the app. Here are the general steps to apply for a product through Citi Mobile®:
Download the Citi Mobile® app from the app store on your mobile device, if you haven't already.
Sign in to the app with your Citi account credentials.
On the app's home screen, select the product you're interested in applying for. For example, you might select "Credit Cards" or "Personal Loans."
Browse through the available options and select the product that best fits your needs.
Follow the prompts to provide your personal and financial information, including your name, address, income, and employment information. You may also need to provide additional documentation, such as a copy of your ID or proof of income.
Review and submit your application.
Wait for a decision from Citi. In some cases, you may receive an instant decision, while in other cases, Citi may need to review your application further and get back to you later.

How to Make Payments Through the App?
Citi Mobile® allows you to make payments on your Citi credit card, mortgage, personal loan, and other accounts directly from the app. Here's how to make payments through the app:
Download the Citi Mobile® app from the app store on your mobile device, if you haven't already.
Sign in to the app with your Citi account credentials.
On the app's home screen, select the account you want to make a payment on. For example, you might select your Citi credit card account.
Select the "Make a Payment" option.
Choose the amount you want to pay and the date you want the payment to be processed.
Select the account you want to use to make the payment. You can choose from your Citi checking account, savings account, or another linked account.
Review the payment details and select "Submit."
Wait for the payment to be processed. You can check the status of your payment in the app.

How to Delete an App?
Here are the steps to delete an app on both iOS and Android devices:
For iOS
Locate the app you want to delete on your home screen.
Press and hold down the app icon until it starts shaking.
Tap the "X" icon on the app's icon.
A message will pop up asking you to confirm that you want to delete the app. Tap "Delete" to confirm.
Wait for the app to be deleted. This may take a few seconds.
Once the app is deleted, it will no longer appear on your home screen.
For Android
Go to your device's app drawer (the icon with a grid of squares or dots).
Find the app you want to delete and tap and hold on it.
Drag the app to the "Uninstall" icon that appears at the top of the screen.
A message will pop up asking you to confirm that you want to delete the app. Tap "OK" to confirm.
Wait for the app to be deleted. This may take a few seconds.
Once the app is deleted, it will no longer appear in your app drawer.
Note that some apps may be pre-installed on your device and cannot be deleted. Additionally, some apps may have data associated with them that will also be deleted when you delete the app. If you want to keep that data, you may need to back it up before deleting the app.
