Show your love for the University of the Philippines by supporting all UP Alumni Association's education, livelihood, healthcare, heritage, and commemorative projects. This usually comes in the form of donations from cardholders' accounts.


  • Donation. The principal characteristic of this card is that with it, you can donate to foster UP Alumni projects 50% of your annual fee and 0.5% of your spending at retail establishments.

How to apply a credit card?

You can apply for a University of the Philippines Alumni Association Visa card online by going to the Unionbank website or downloading the bank's mobile app. Whether you're using the web or the mobile app, follow these steps to apply for the card:

  1. Visit the Union Bank official website.
  2. Go down and click on Cards. Click on Credit card.
  3. Go up and click on See cards.
  4. Look for and click on University of the Philippines Alumni Association Visa card.
  5. Click on Apply now.
  6. Select if you have a reference code or not.

  7. Choose if you are a Union Bank customer or not, input your account number or your card number if you are.
  8. Select University of the Philippines Alumni Association Visa card.
  9. Choose if you have a principal card with another bank or not.
  10. Select if you have a valid ID and a financial document or not, click on Next when done.
  11. Input all the needed data and information and then follow all the onscreen descriptions to complete your application.

Eligibility requirement

To be eligible as a University of the Philippines Alumni Association Visa card holder, the applicants:

  • Must be 18-70 years old to apply.
  • Must have a landline.

Documentary requirements

These documents are required from a card applicant.

  1. Proof of identity. Applicants should provide a valid government ID with a photo and signature.
  2. Proof of income. A copy of your source of income:
    • income tax return (ITR);
    • Certificate of employment or employment contract;
    • Latest 3-months payslips;
    • BIR form 2316 or a similar document;
    • Evidence of pension;
    • Latest three months copy of bank statement of account (SOA).
    • Alien certification of registration (ACR) or a document with its equivalence is required for foreign applicants.
