This card is used to support the Southwestern University Alumni Foundation. Users automatically donate 50% of their annual fees and 0.5% of their spending on retail establishments to the foundation. The following are some of the features associated with the card:

Features

• Payment convenience. Users can easily make payments over the counter or through a Unionbank ATM. Users who own a Unionbank account can make their payments online.
• Discounts and promos. There are several options to earn rewards for card users. These include 50% off dining costs at The Bistro Group, ₱300 off your purchase at Boozy, travel and lodging discounts, etc.
• Credit card security. You can secure your account by setting notifications for some transactions on your card.

• Users are fined a late payment fee of ₱1,000.

How to apply for a credit card?

If you are interested in a Southwestern University Alumni Foundation Visa card, you can apply through the steps given below:

1. Visit the Union Bank official website.
2. Go down and click on Cards. Click on Credit card.
3. Go up and click on See cards.
4. Look for and click on Southwestern University Alumni Foundation Visa Card.
5. Click on Apply now.
6. Select if you have a reference code or not.
7. Choose if you are a Union Bank customer or not, input your account number or your card number if you are.
8. Select Southwestern University Alumni Foundation Visa Card.
9. Choose if you have a principal card with another bank or not.
10. Select if you have a valid ID and a financial document or not, click on Next when done.
11. Input all the needed data and information and then follow all the onscreen descriptions to complete your application.

Eligibility requirements

• The applicants must meet these requirements to be eligible for a Southwestern University Alumni Foundation Visa card:
• The user must be aged 18 to 70 years.
• The user must have a minimum annual income of ₱360,000.

Documentary requirements

1. Proof of identity. The applicant must provide a government-issued ID with a photo and signature.
2. Proof of income. To ensure that the applicant can undertake the financial obligations of the card, they are required to provide one of the following:
• Income tax return or certificate of compensation payment and tax withheld or similar documents.
• Certificate of employment or employment contract.
