How to register an account on Tala?

New customers are required to register an account on Tala before they can apply for a loan.

  1. Download the Tala loan app
  2. Tap Sign up
  3. Fill out the application form
  4. Get a verification code
  5. Set a PIN
  6. The registration process takes only few minutes.

How to reset a password on Tala?

You will be required to use the password you set while registering your account to access the Tala loan app. If you forget your password, you can reset it by following these steps:

  1. Open the Tala App
  2. Tap Forget Pin
  3. Enter your ID number
  4. You will get a new temporary PIN sent to you by SMS
  5. Use the PIN to log in to your account
  6. Set a new PIN

How to delete an account on Tala?

According to Tala’s Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, the company collects information from borrowers to establish whether they qualify for a loan. If you would wish to discontinue your relationship with Tala, simply uninstall the app. Please make sure you have repaid all your loans.

The best way to contact Tala is via the Tala App.

  1. Go to FAQ section in the app.

  2. Click on the bell icon at the top right-hand corner.

  3. Choose how you would want to contact customer support.

 You can also email Tala at [email protected] and expect a response on any business day. When contacting Tala, it is advisable to use your name and a Tala-registered mobile number. This way, it becomes easier to get quicker response.

Users can also contact Tala on its official Facebook page and expect a response within 24 hours.

Advantages
I get Tala loan easily, choose the date to pay. I recently tried another lenders but they send me a fixed date when I must pay. Didn't know you may choose it yourself, it's great idea! Now couldcontrl my finance better. And as I understand you may use it again and again… don't have to apply again, just pay off the loan. understood how to use mobile app from the first sight. I would defenitly use Tala again! Highly recommended!

Advantages
With Tala I forget about banks and offices. Everything is in mobile, I could control my money and loan. Choose limit. I just needed driving license and phone number to register account. Online service ends up in low or no fee, and no hidden fees.
Disadvantages
For the first time you can borrow only Php 1000 or 2000. Have to repay it in time to get more money. They write about Php 15,000, but you wont have it quickly. And fees and interest for a big loan is more than it is written at the main page — info said it is calculated for Php 1000 loan, not 15,000.

Advantages
Tala is an option if you need cash quickly. I urgently borrow money I needed. Downloaded the app, apply and it take 5 min to get my cash. App is essy, interface is comfy.
Disadvantages
They start to send me ad and offers like… everyday. It is too much out of control.

Advantages
Fast service. They say you could get money within few minutes after open the account and this is true.
Disadvantages
Mobile app is slow and clumsy. I can log in to my account, but can't use it. Smts it get me out from the acount or app. It is hard to do anythin, you'll be lucky if you can

It was easy to sign in. That all!!!!!!
Disadvantages
Customer service is absolutely useless. I tryed to write and call. At first they ignored me, than I got an answer but it doesn't help me. My money has stuck somewhere: I can't see it on my account. They tell me to wait! Another manager said that I should repeat the operation. But nothing happens!!! Next manager said that he will ask his boss and lift the phone. It's the horrible service ever.
