The Pangasinan Bank personal loan, known as Consumption Loan, is a credit to purchase an individual household item or equipment, meet expenditures for the clients/borrowers' and their instantaneous family's educational, healthcare, or emergency needs, processing/placement fee for working/migrating oversea or OFW loan application, etc. The loan terms are a minimum of 30 days and a maximum of five years, with a five-year extension option, payable every 30, 60, 90, 120, 150, 180, or 360 days.

How to apply for a Pangasinan Bank personal loan?

Application is only made in-branch. You have to follow the steps below to apply for a loan:

  1. Ensure you pass all the requirements and have all the documents.

  2. Visit any branch of your choice and tell the customer service you want to apply for a consumption loan.

  3. They will assess your documents and decide the range of principal you can borrow, minimum and maximum terms, and interest rate. They will also determine if you qualify for an unsecured loan.

  4. Get the loan form, fill it out, and choose the terms of your loan from the range of data given to you.

  5. Follow all the further directives from the customer service to complete your loan application.

Eligibility

To be eligible for a Pangasinan Bank consumption loan, applicants must:

  • Be a Filipino citizen or a foreign national who lives permanently in the Philippines.

  • Be at least 21 years old at the time of application and no more than 65 years old when the loan matures.

  • Have at least one permanent landline number (home or company) and a mobile number (a mobile phone number will not be recognized as a different contact number).

  • Have a mean (basic) monthly income (GMI) of at least ₱15,000 or an annual income of at least ₱180,000.

Documentary requirements

  • Fully completed Pangasinan Bank Consumption Loan application form.

  • Photocopy of at least one valid digital format photo-bearing and signature-bearing ID authorized in the Philippines (i.e., driver's license, philippine identity card, professional regulation commission (PRC) ID card, SSS ID card, BIR ID card, voter's ID card, incorporated bar of the Philippines ID card, and unified SSS/GSIS and TIN ID card.). Company identification cards issued by private businesses or institutions registered with, controlled, or regulated by the BSP, SEC, or IC can also be provided.

  • (Only for foreign nationals). Any one of these proofs of residency: alien certificate of registration, immigrant certification of registration, or passport copy of resident visa stamp

  • Proof of income, which includes all of the following:

    • For employed applicants:

      • Photocopy of the most recent ITR/BIR form 2316

      • Photocopy of the most recent three months' pay slips

      • The employment certificate states the salary, position, date employed, and ITR or pay slips

      • Valid credit card reference or the most recent credit card statement of account

      • Other documentation may be required for additional verification

    • For self-employed applicants:

      • Copy the most recent ITR/BIR form 1701 and audited financial statement

      • SEC registration or DTI registration certificate (for sole proprietorship)

      • A certificate with a page listing the applicant's shares (for partnerships or corporations)

      • Permit for business

      • Valid credit card information or the most recent credit card statement of account

      • Other documents, such as a Mayor's permit, may be required for further verification

      • Please keep in mind that all documents submitted/presented must be in the applicant's name (correct spelling required, include suffix if applicable)

Loan release requirements
