Before you can access Komo services, you will have to create an account after confirming your eligibility. Start by downloading a Komo app from Play Store if you are an Android user, the App Store if you are an iPhone user, or the App Gallery for Huawei users.
First-time users must register an account before accessing banking services on the Komo platform. Before registration, you must ensure that you meet the eligibility criteria. The account creation process is straightforward. New customers must first download the app from Play Store, App Store, or App Gallery. To register an account follow these steps:
Download and install the Komo app, open it.
Tap Create your bank account.
Read and accept the terms for opening a bank account. Remember to check certain features under information controls and advertising and measurement services, as well as additional information regarding account creation.
On the next page, tap Got it.
Answer some questions regarding your personal information.
Read the Terms and Conditions for using Komo digital banking service.
Tap I agree if you are ready to open an account.
You will receive a one-time-PIN (OTP) via text message. Enter it.
Create a 6-digit passcode you will use when logging in to your Komo app.
Complete the security steps, including taking a picture of your valid ID and a selfie. Remember that your ID and selfie details must be clear enough to read.
Choose the name you would like to appear on the Komo debit card.
Check that you have entered the correct information.
Submit your application.
How to reset my password on Komo
If you forget your passcode, follow these steps to change it:
Open your app.
Go to your Komo account.
Tap Forgot passcode.
You will be asked to provide your account-related information for verification purposes and to identify your account.
You will receive a password reset notification.
Enter a new passcode.
Confirm your new passcode.
Tap OK to complete the update.
How to delete an account on Komo
You can delete or suspend your account through the Komo mobile app. You can also delete the account via email. To delete your account using your mobile app, uninstall the app from your mobile phone. Other ways of deleting your account include emailing Komo and stating your intent of account deletion. Your intended reasons for deleting an account can also be a personal choice; hence, Komo does not refuse to disable accounts of users who do not wish to continue cooperation with it.
