How to register an account
The bank offers multiple features and better security that allows its customers to bank confidently at any time from any location. It has a simple consumer self-service enrolment method and no need to fill out any registration form. Customers can just enable Internet banking by visiting an ATM. The platform also allows users to change their passwords or reset their cell numbers, among other things.
Eastwest online offers interbank and worldwide fund transfers in foreign and local currency. This platform allows users to access account administration, transaction history, and even stop payment requests for non-negotiated checks. The bank has also implemented one-time passwords (OTPs) for transactional authentication and security questions for customer detail maintenance to improve security.
Eastwest Bank also created a mobile app, where you may manage your account to supplement the convenience provided by its digital banking function. This app gives you access to your online account and services such as monitoring your account balance, paying bills, transferring payments, and more.
Follow these steps to open an account on the Eastwest Bank website:
Visit the official bank website: www.eastwestbanker.com.
Click on the Online banking menu, which displays different types of accounts, and is located on the upper right side of the webpage. Select the type of account in which you want to enroll.
To access the enrollment page, click the Enroll button. You can also access the enrollment page by clicking Sign me up after selecting Log in from the Online banking option.
Read the terms and conditions and check the little box below if you consent.
The program will ask if you have a debit/prepaid card, and you should click the button that corresponds with your response.
Enter your card number and PIN and click on Confirm.
Fill out the registration form with the required information, then click Submit.
Print the online application form and sign it.
Take the completed form to the Eastwest Bank branch you created your account.
How to restore access to Eastwest Bank online
In case you forgot the password or username to your Eastwest Bank login, follow the steps below to restore it:
For password
Visit the Eastwest Bank website at www.eastwestbanker.com, click on the Online banking by the top right side of the website.
On the next page, click on Forgot password.
Select Reset password.
Choose your card type and enter the card details.
Validate your username by following the steps on the next page and click on Submit.
Key in the OTP that will be sent to your registered phone number and click on Submit.
Choose a new password and click on Submit when done.
For username
Visit the Eastwest Bank website at www.eastwestbanker.com, click on Online banking by the top right side of the website.
On the next page, click on Forgot password.
Select Retrieve username.
Choose your card type and enter the card details.
Key in the OTP that will be sent to your registered phone number and click on Submit.
Your username will be sent to your registered email address.
How to delete an account
To delete an Eastwest Bank online account, you must go to the bank and speak with a customer service representative. You will be provided a form to fill out after explaining your reason for visiting. Fill out the form and explain why you're closing the account, then follow the instructions from the customer service person. You can also put a call through to their customer care at (+632) 8888-1700 or send an email at service@eastwestbanker.com and then tell them about the account closure.
