Citi PremierMiles Mastercard is one of the travel Citibank credit cards (before they transferred ownership of its consumer banking business to Union Bank) with exclusive deals for frequent travellers who want a few benefits like dining benefits but don't want to pay a high price for them. Cardholders earn 1 mile for every ₱30 spent on airline transactions in the Philippines and 2 miles for every Peso spent abroad.
Features of the Citi PremierMiles Mastercard®
As previously said, the card has several features and benefits, of which we will discuss a few in this section:
- Reward points.When you make foreign currency transactions, you earn double PremierMiles reward points for each ₱30 equivalent spend in foreign currency quasi-cash transactions. Every year, on your card creation date and upon final payment of the annual fee, you will receive 10,000 extra PremierMiles.
- Travel benefits.When you shop online on travel ticket merchants, you will earn PremierMiles that will never expire. Enjoy eight times free premium lounge access across Nineteen airports in nine countries. Also, personal accidents and flight inconvenience insurance are included.
- Premium.With the temporary CVV function, you can quickly activate your brand new Citi PremierMiles credit card account via the Citi mobile® app or Citibank online and begin spending. At the same time, you wait for your actual card issuance. In any case, the terms and conditions apply.
- Air miles.The Citi PremierMiles card does not expire, so you may save up until you accumulate enough miles to redeem for the vacation you choose. You may redeem your PremierMiles for free hotel bookings or cash credits to cover your next trip. Each mile earns you 1.6 PremierMiles.

How to apply for the Citi PremierMiles Mastercard®
- Visit the Citibank official website.
- Click on Credit cards and then View all credit cards.
- Click on Citi Mastercard credit cards and then select the Citi PremierMiles Mastercard.
- Go down and click on Apply now. Select if you are a principal cardholder with another bank or not.
- Select if you have your up-to-date payslip or ITR and two valid IDs or not.
- Select if or not your minimum annual income is up to ₱250,000.
- Input your correct personal and contact details and then click on Begin application.
- Follow all the onscreen steps carefully to complete your card application.
Eligibility requirements
- Applicants must be 21 or older.
- Applicants must pay the annual card fee of ₱5,000. Note that you get the first year free.
- Applicants must maintain the ₱360,000 minimum annual income.
- Applicants must have an existing credit card.
- Applicants must have a mobile number.
Documentary requirements
Applicants must have two ID cards, two primary IDs, one primary ID, and one secondary ID. Below is a list of the accepted IDs
Primary IDs:
- Armed forces of the Philippine branch ID card
- Alien certificate of registration ID card
- Drivers license
Secondary IDs:
- The COMELEC voter’s ID
- Senior citizen ID card
- Special resident retiree's Visa
- Home development mutual fund ID card
- TIN ID card
