You can enjoy 0% Merchant Installment for up to 36 months at participating merchants when you use the China Bank Platinum Mastercard Installment Program. The minimum installment amount that qualifies for 0% Merchant Installment is ₱ 3,000, or the amount determined by the Merchant. You can also transfer balances from other credit cards to your China Bank Platinum Mastercard and pay in low-interest installments for up to 24 months. Furthermore, you can convert your straight transactions at non-installment merchants and pay in up to 24 monthly installments. 

Additionally, you can pay for products and services anywhere in the world while taking advantage of comprehensive travel insurance worth up to ₱ 20 million. Besides that, you can benefit from the rewards program with the China Bank Platinum credit card. You earn rewards points for every ₱ 25 spent at standard merchants and ₱ 200 spent at service providers.

• You must pay an annual membership fee of ₱ 3,500. 

• You will have to pay a ₱ 1000 fee to upgrade or downgrade your card, which is expensive. 

How to apply for a China Bank Platinum Mastercard?

To be eligible for this card, you must be a Filipino citizen aged 21-55 with a government-issued ID. Other requirements include proof of income and residency. If you meet all of the requirements, you can apply for the card using the steps below: 

1. Visit the China Bank homepage
2. Click on Credit Cards
3. Select Platinum Mastercard, tap on Apply Now
4. Select Credit Card Application Form
5. Download the form and print it before filling out the details required.
6. Scan the filled-out form and attach your ID and all the required documents.
7. Send to [email protected]
8. Wait for your application to be processed within two weeks if you provide valid documents and details.
