China Bank Freedom Mastercard

The China Bank Freedom Mastercard offers no yearly charge for both primary and secondary cardholders. You can use the card to pay for things anywhere in the world. The Freedom Mastercard can be used to make purchases at point-of-sale terminals, contactless retailers, and online.

Features

For every ₱20 spent, you earn reward points, which you can trade for items at the reward catalog. You will receive a China Bank Virtual Card, a companion card created solely for internet use. It can be set with a limit, giving you complete control over your online spending. You can also perform secure transactions because your card includes the following security features: 

• Transaction alerts. You will receive SMS and e-mail notifications for each purchase to your registered mobile number and e-mail address.
• 3D Secure. You will be asked for the one-time password (OTP) sent to your registered mobile number every time you transact at a participating 3D Secure online merchant.
• EMV Chip. It improves payment security by safeguarding your personal information whenever you use your card to conduct a purchase.

How to apply for a China Bank Freedom Mastercard?

Before applying for the Freedom Mastercard, you should read all the requirements and ensure you have all the necessary documentation. Then follow these steps to apply online: 

1. Scroll down the China Bank website and, on the left, choose Credit Cards.
2. Go to Freedom Mastercard and click Apply Now.
3. Click the Credit Card Application Form to download it.
4. Fill out the form correctly and sign it.
5. Scan the completed copy and e-mail it to cardsales@chinabank.ph.
6. You will receive your card within 10 to 15 working days if you are eligible.
