To help members access their accounts and products on the go, Tignish Credit Union has developed a mobile app. Currently known as the Provincial Credit Union mobile app, the app is available for iOS and Android devices.

Let’s look through the features of the Provincial Credit Union mobile app:

How to download the Provincial Credit Union mobile app

The Provincial Credit Union mobile app is available on the App Store for iOS 11.0 or later and for macOS 11.0 or later on Mac devices with an Apple M1 chip or later. On Google Play, it is available for Android™ 6.0 or later.

To download the Provincial Credit Union mobile app, go to the Apple App Store or Google Play Store from your device and search for “Provincial Credit Union”. How to apply for a loan in the Provincial Credit Union mobile app?

The Provincial Credit Union mobile app doesn’t provide the loan application feature at this time. Still, you can apply for a loan from your Tignish online banking account or at a branch near you.

Visit the Tignish Credit Union website and mobile app pages occasionally to check for new app feature announcements.

How to pay via the Provincial Credit Union mobile app?

To pay a bill via the Provincial Credit Union mobile app, tap “Pay Bills” on the home screen. Then, choose an account you want to pay from, choose a payee, enter the payment amount, and specify the payment date. You can also set up a recurring bill payment.

How to restore access to the Provincial Credit Union mobile app?

You can restore your Personal Access Code or PAC using the Self-Serve PAC Reset tool. Click the “Forgot Password?” link on the login screen in the Provincial Credit Union mobile app and enter your member number and either the last 3-digits of your SIN or your date of birth. Once you receive a verification code by phone or email, enter it into the designated field to confirm your identity.

Alternatively, you can visit your local Tignish Credit Union branch to have your PAC reset.

How to delete the Provincial Credit Union mobile app?

You can delete the Provincial Credit Union mobile app from your device the same way you would normally delete other apps. To delete the app from an iOS device, tap and hold your finger down on the Provincial Credit Union mobile app icon and tap “X” in the top right corner. On an Android device, delete an app either from the settings menu or by moving it into the trash can (the deletion methods may vary across devices).

Beware that deleting the app doesn’t mean closing your accounts and products or deleting the personal data you’ve shared with Tignish Credit Union previously.
