About TD Business Travel Visa Card

A TD Business Travel Visa Card is a credit card for business clients providing regular interest rates, reward-earning opportunities, and useful travel insurance coverage.

From time to time, TD Bank announces special offers for a TD Business Travel Visa Card, allowing you to earn extra TD Rewards points for spending a certain amount within a given period and get an annual fee rebate. 

TD Business Travel Visa Card features

A TD Business Travel Visa Card features a 19.99% interest rate on purchases and 22.99% – on cash advances. The annual fee for this card is $149 for the primary cardholder and $49 for each additional cardholder. New TD Business Travel Visa Card applicants can get an annual fee rebate with a special offer.

The minimum credit limit for a TD Business Travel Visa Card is $1,000.

With limited-time offers in place, new TD Business Travel Visa Card clients can earn bonus TD Rewards points upon meeting the spending requirements within a certain period. 

Along with welcome offers, TD Business Travel Visa Cardholders can enjoy regular reward-earning opportunities. 

For every $1 spent with your TD Business Travel Visa Card on travel purchases online through Expedia For TD, you will earn 9 TD Rewards points.

For every $1 spent with your TD Business Travel Visa Card on purchases in such categories as “foreign currency purchases,” “restaurant purchases,” and “recurring payments” up to the $80,000 annual spending threshold, you will earn 6 TD Rewards points. Once you reach the $80,000 spending threshold, you will continue earning TD Rewards points regularly (2 TD Rewards points for every $1 spent).

For every $1 spent with your TD Business Travel Visa Card on other eligible purchases, you will earn 2 TD Rewards points.

Upon linking your TD Business Travel Visa Card with your Starbucks account, you will start earning 50% more TD Rewards points for paying at Starbucks locations.

You can further redeem the TD Rewards points you’ve earned in a variety of ways:

  • Making purchases at Amazon.ca 

  • Paying down your credit card account balance

How to apply for a TD Business Travel Visa Card

To qualify for a TD Business Travel Visa Card, you must own a business that is for profit and operates in Canada.

To apply for a TD Business Travel Visa Card online, click the “Apply online” button on the credit card description page. If you are a TD client already, sign in using your EasyWeb online banking credentials. If not, click the “Apply Online” button and proceed with the application form. During the application, you will need to provide the following details:

  • Your province of residence

  • Your personal information (including your first name, middle name, last name, title, and date of birth)

  • Your social insurance number

  • Your phone number

  • Your email

  • Your address

  • Your employment details (including your employment status, employer’s name, industry, and occupation)

  • Your business name

  • Your business address

  • Your business phone number

  • Type of industry

  • Whether your business is a corporation

  • The date of incorporation

  • The number of employees (both full-time and part-time)

  • The nature of business

  • The number of business owners

  • Date from which you own the business

  • Business establishment date

  • Gross annual revenue

  • Date of fiscal year-end

  • The desired credit limit 

  • Gross annual personal income

  • Personal assets held outside of TD within Canada

  • Personal liabilities held outside of TD in Canada

  • Your residential status

  • Your housing expenses (including monthly rental Amount, annual property tax, monthly heating costs, property value, mortgage amount, mortgage payment amount, and condo fees)

Once you enter the required information, review everything once again, accept the terms and conditions, and click “Submit” to complete the application.

TD Bank doesn’t specify any minimum annual income requirements to apply for a TD Business Travel Visa Card.
