How to download the Stride Mobile App

Stride Credit Union mobile application is free for iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, and Mac through App Store or Android smartphone or tablet through Google Play. 

For iPhone users:

  1. Using your iPhone, type in the App Store search bar «Stride Mobile Banking App.» 

  2. Select the app icon and verify that the app's author is Stride Credit Union. 

  3. Tap the icon marked «Free,» then tap again when it changes to «Install.» 

  4. The app will begin installing. Press the «Open» button in the App Store, or find it on your home screen and tap to open.  

For Android Users:

  1. Using your Android phone, tap the search icon and type in the search bar «Stride Mobile Banking App» in Google Play. 

  2. Select the app icon and verify that the app's author is Stride Credit Union. 

  3. Tap the icon marked «Install,» then tap «Accept» on the next screen. 

  4. The app will begin installing. Press the «Open» button in Google Play, or find it on your home screen and tap to open. 

iPhone and iPod touch requires iOS 11.0 or later.

iPad requires iPadOS 11.0 or later.

Mac requires macOS 11.0 or later and a Mac with an Apple M1 chip or later.

Android devices require Android 6.0 or later. 

How to use the Stride Mobile App

  1. Download the Stride mobile banking app from the App Store or Google Play.

  2. Launch the Mobile App from your device's home screen (tap the icon). 

  3. Click the «Log in» button in the top right corner. 

  4. Log in to the app with your online banking membership details. Once you log out or close the app, your secure session will end.

  5. You can view your Login Info and touch the «Member #» field for login credentials. To display your balances without logging in, touch Remember Me «On» and enable the QuickView feature. 

If you're not a member, join a Stride credit union, register for online banking, and log in to your Stride account. If you are not an online banking member, you can still use the Branch/ATM locator, Rates, and Contact Us information.

How to apply for a loan in the Stride Mobile App?

You can apply for a loan only through mobile banking.

To apply for a Stride loan online:

  1. Open the Stride official website. 

  2. Select «Borrow» and «Loans» at the side menu and click the «Apply now» link. 

You should be a resident of Manitoba aged 18 years or older who has not declared bankruptcy in the last seven years. 

  1. Fill out a loan application form. To apply for a loan, you must also be a Stride credit union member. To join Stride, tick a box near «Apply for a membership» during the loan application. 

  2. Input a loan amount, payment frequency, and purpose. 

  3. Provide your name, home address, phone number, email address, employment info, annual income, and asset & liability information. 

You may also visit a branch or book a chat by calling 1-877-228-2636 or through an online contact form. You need to be able to apply via the mobile app. 

Your information will be personally reviewed within 24 hours. If approved, book an appointment in the branch to complete the paperwork or use an e-signature from home.

How to extend a loan in the Stride Mobile App?

The Stride Mobile banking app still does not offer this feature.

Your monthly loan repayments will be paid automatically from the account preset during the loan application. In addition, you may make lump sum, extra, and early loan payments without a prepayment penalty. Use the «Pay bills» section on your Stride Mobile App. You may also set up recurring payments.

How to pay in the Stride Mobile App?

Through the Stride mobile application, you could select «Pay Bills,» «Transfers,» or «Interac e-Transfer» to make payments. Pay bills and transfer funds immediately, make future scheduled or recurring payments and transfers, deposit cheques, and send Interac e-Transfers.

How to restore access to the Stride Mobile app?

You log in to your Stride mobile banking app with the same credentials you use for your online banking account. 

If you have forgotten your Passcodes (PAC):

  1. Open a login page at the official website. 

  2. Click the «Forgot Passcode?» link. 

  3. Enter your Login ID. 

  4. Enter your date of birth. 

  5. Click the «Continue» button. 

Only you know your PAC. The credit union employees do not have access to it, and your code can not be remembered by the mobile device, only your Member ID.

How to delete the Stride Mobile app?

To delete the app from your mobile device, go to the App Store or Google Play, choose the application and click «Uninstall.» Unfortunately, your data can't be deleted, but Stride claims it does not collect or share user data from the Stride Mobile Banking App. To delete your account, contact Stride Credit Union.
