How to open an SCU digital banking account?

With digital banking solutions from Steinbach Credit Union, you can manage your accounts and products whenever it is convenient for you. To enroll in SCU digital banking, you need either a physical or a virtual debit card number. If you don’t have either, call Steinbach Credit Union at 1.800.728.6440 or visit a branch near you.

How to sign in to an SCU digital banking account?

Once you have a debit card, you can sign in to your SCU digital banking account. Go to the Steinbach Credit Union website, click the “Login” button in the top right corner of any page, and select “Online Banking”. On the next screen, enter your 16-digit debit card number and click “Continue”. 

Next, enter your date of birth. Then, select either the “Mobile phone number” or “Email” field and provide your information. Once you do, the system will send you an authentication code through email or text. Enter the code you received into the designated field and click “Continue”. The next step is username creation. Keep in mind that the username is permanent, so you cannot change it after you have it set up. 

After creating a username, enter a new password that is at least 10 characters long and has at least one capital letter, lowercase letter, and number. Then, re-enter the password you’ve created. Next, accept the terms and conditions and click “Continue”. Finally, confirm your account details and click the “Create user profile” button.  After that, you can sign in to your SCU digital banking account using your new username and password.

How can I change my SCU digital banking password?

You can change your SCU digital banking at any time. Sign in to your account, click “My SCU” in the top navigation menu, select “Settings”, and then select “Password”. Next, enter your current password, create a new password, re-enter it to confirm, and click “Continue”. Then, click “Continue” again. After you receive an authentication code through a text message, enter it into the designated field and click “Continue”.

How do I restore the forgotten password?

To restore the forgotten password, click “Forgot username or password?” and select “Forgot password?” on the SCU digital banking login page. On the next screen, enter your username or a 16-digit debit card number, enter your mobile phone number, and click “Continue”. After you receive an authentication code through a text message, enter it into the designated field and click “Continue”. 

Next, create a new password, re-enter it to confirm, and click “Confirm”. After that, you can sign in to your account with a new password.

How to delete an SCU digital banking account?

Steinbach Credit Union doesn’t provide any information on how to delete your SCU digital banking account. You can contact the SCU Member Contact Centre by phone on this matter:

How to transfer funds between the accounts via an SCU digital banking account?

To transfer funds between your accounts, sign in to your SCU digital banking account, click “Transfers & Payments”, and select “Transfer funds”. Then, choose an account to transfer funds from and an account to transfer funds to, enter the transfer amount, and specify the frequency — immediate, scheduled, or recurring. Click “Continue”, verify the details of your transfer, and click “Continue” again.

After you receive an authentication code through a text message or by email, enter it into the designated field to complete the transaction.
