Equitable Bank app

It looks like the EQ Bank Mobile Banking app doesn’t have the loan application feature. 

Equitable Bank and its online-only subsidiary EQ Bank offer mortgage loans only. To apply for a mortgage from Equitable Bank, contact the bank by phone at 416-515-7000 or 1-866-407-0004 (toll-free). With EQ Bank, you can access the Mortgage Marketplace and view over 2,000 mortgage offerings from Equitable Bank and other Canadian lenders.

To pay a bill through the EQ Bank Mobile Banking app, tap “Bills” in the bottom navigation menu on the home screen of the app and then tap “Pay Bills”. Next, select an account to pay from, select a payee, and enter the amount to pay.

To set up a scheduled bill payment, tap “Bills” in the bottom navigation menu on the home screen and then tap “Upcoming bills”. After that, specify the preferred payment date.

To deposit a cheque through the EQ Bank Mobile Banking app, launch it and tap “Deposit” in the bottom navigation menu on the home screen of the app. Then, enter the amount stated on the cheque and select the account you want to top up. Next, take a picture of the front and the back of your cheque and tap “Deposit”.

If you forgot your EQ account password, you can reset it through the self-service password restore feature. To proceed, click “Forgot Password” on the login screen. Next, enter your EQ Bank username (which is the email address used in enrollment). Then, follow the further instructions from the system.

Deleting the EQ Bank Mobile Banking app from your smartphone or tablet won’t differ from deleting any other app. To remove the app from an iOS device, touch and hold its icon on the home screen, tap “Remove App”, and tap either “Remove from Home Screen” or “Delete App”. To remove the app from an Android device, go to the “Settings” menu, tap “Apps”, and then tap “See all apps”. Then, tap on the EQ Bank Mobile Banking app icon, tap “Uninstall”, and tap “OK” to confirm the deletion.
