How to download the CWB mobile app

Canadian Western Bank mobile app is available for iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch through App Store or for Android through Google Play.

iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch require iOS 7.0 or later. Optimized for iPhone 5.

For iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch:

Search for «Canadian Western Bank» in the App Store.
Select the app icon and ensure that the app's owner is Canadian Western Bank.
Next, click the icon marked «Get» — «Install».
Enter your App Store password, and you're done.

Android devices require Android OS 4.1 and up.

For Android:

Search for «Canadian Western Bank» in the Google Play store app.
Select the app icon and ensure that the app's owner is Canadian Western Bank.
Tap the " Free " icon — «Install» and accept the permissions.
Click «Open» to start using the app.

Also, you may use CWB Mobile web, a lighter version of CWBdirect optimized for a mobile device screen with no need to download and install an app.

How to use the CWB mobile app

Sign up for CWBdirect Online Banking: visit a CWB website, choose a wanted account and click «Apply for a new account» or «Apply now,» scan your driver’s license or enter your personal information, create a security question, and answer. You will see your Personal Access Number or Personal Access Code.
Install and open CWB Mobile App.
Log in to your account using your CWBdirect Online Banking customer number and personal access code.

Canadian Western Bank Mobile is only available for CWBdirect Online Banking clients. The app does not support business clients with CWBdirect Business Online Banking.

You can't apply for a CWB loan online. Instead, fill out a form at the website or visit a branch to contact a CWB Relationship Manager.

You can't extend your loan online. Instead, visit the banking center and contact a Relationship Manager.

You may have ongoing access to your funds without reapplying if you get a line of credit or HELOC. Loans and mortgages have fixed payments and due dates.

You can find details about your CWB mortgage, including your balance, the interest charged, the previous period and interest rate, the original amount, the current balance of your loans, and the available and current balance of the lines of credit using the CWB mobile app.

With the Canadian Western Bank Mobile app, you may pay bills, transfer funds between accounts, make regular and auto payments and transfers, send e-Transfers and deposit cheques through Deposit Anywhere or find the nearest branch to pay in person.

You should use the account number and personal access code created during the CWBdirect Online Banking registration to log in. Contact your local branch if you forget your personal access code or want to change it.

CWB banking centers in Canada are open Monday — Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Closed Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.

For iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch devices: Tap and hold your finger down on the Canadian Western Bank Mobile icon and tap the «X» in the top-right corner.

For Android devices: The process for uninstalling the app will depend on your Android phone.

Visit your device's «Settings menu» — «Apps» or Application manager.
Touch the app you'd like to uninstall.
Select «Uninstall.» You will get a message «CWB Mobile will be uninstalled.» Click «OK» to Uninstall.

Or

Visit your device's all apps screen.
Hold your finger down on CWB Mobile.
Drag the app to the «Remove» that appears in red. You will get a message «CWB Mobile will be uninstalled.» Click «OK» to uninstall.
