A No-fee Elegance® GOLD Card. An Elegance® GOLD Card features a 19.99% annual interest rate and a zero annual fee. Purchases made with your Elegance® GOLD Card will bring you 0.5% back in BONUSDOLLARS. In addition, you can get the advantage of free insurance coverage for trips of up to three days outside your province of residence (including emergency health care coverage, trip interruption and cancellation insurance, and baggage coverage). Along with that, an Elegance® GOLD Card has mobile device insurance, purchase protection, and extended warranty insurance coverages included. Optionally, you can choose to pay a $30 annual fee and either reduce your annual interest rate to 12.9% or earn 1% BONUSDOLLARS on your purchases.

A Low-rate Modulo® GOLD Card. A Modulo® GOLD Card features a 10.9% annual interest rate and 1% of your purchases back in BONUSDOLLARS, all for a $50 annual fee. Insurance coverages included in a Modulo® GOLD Card are 3-day travel insurance (emergency health care coverage, trip interruption, and cancellation insurance, and baggage coverage), mobile device insurance, purchase protection, and extended warranty insurance coverages.

An Exclusive Rewards Platinum Card. Available by invitation only, a Platinum credit card features a 9.9% annual interest rate and 1% of your purchases back in BONUSDOLLARS. Once your annual spending reaches $20,000, you can start earning 1%cash back on your purchases. An annual fee for a Platinum credit card is $169. Insurance coverages included in this credit card are 60-day travel insurance (emergency health care coverage, intergenerational coverage, trip interruption and cancellation insurance, baggage coverage, and common carrier accident coverage), mobile device insurance, purchase protection, extended warranty insurance, and auto rental collision or loss damage insurance.

A Travel Odyssey® GOLD Card. An Odyssey® GOLD Card provides a 19.99% annual interest rate, 1% of your purchases back in BONUSDOLLARS, and up to 60 days of extended travel insurance, all for a $120 annual fee. Travel insurance coverages provided by this credit card are emergency health care coverage, intergenerational coverage, trip interruption and cancellation insurance, baggage coverage, and common carrier accident coverage. There is also an option to pay a $30 annual fee and reduce your annual interest rate to 12.9%.Along with extended travel insurance coverage, an Odyssey® GOLD Card has mobile device insurance, purchase protection, extended warranty insurance, and auto rental collision or loss damage insurance included.

How to open a Coast Capital credit card
You can apply for a credit card offered by Coast Capital online by clicking the “Apply now” button on the credit card description page. Once you do, the system will redirect you to the Desjardins website, where you will see a range of credit cards. Choose the one you need and click the “Get this card” button. On the next screen, review the information about the selected card. Then, provide the following information:

Whether you already have a Desjardins credit card

Whether you want a reduced interest rate of 12.9% for a $30 annual fee

The preferred monthly account statement format (electronic or paper)

A promo code (if any)
Then, review the provided information and click the “Validate” button to complete your application.
